While our individual sections keep us busy with our specific hobbies, the Social Section is the “glue” that holds us all together. We are the bridge between the greens, the tables, and the stages—creating the events that turn our various interests into one vibrant Brookdale community.
Our Calendar Highlights
The Vice Presidents’ Evening:
A prestigious night where we officially welcome our new Vice Presidents into their year of office. It is an evening of tradition, celebration, and a fantastic shared meal.
The Magic of Christmas:
We take pride in transforming the club into a festive wonderland. Our famous Christmas Fair is a local legend, drawing visitors from across Bramhall.
- The Main Hall buzzes with stalls from every section.
- The Jubilee Room transforms into a playground of games and bowling for the little ones.
- The Lesser Hall echoes with the beautiful sounds of the Andante Choir.
- The Upper Hall offers a sanctuary for refreshments and our massive book stall.
- Santa’s Grotto: The big man himself arrives to meet the children and hand out gifts!
Winter Cinema:
To brighten the colder months, we host a weekly afternoon film show running from October through March. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a classic movie and great company during the winter season.
