The Brookdale Club members come form all walks of life, professions and skills.
Because of this diverse range of members we manage to maintain and support about 90% of the work required to keep the club in tip-top order.
Electrics, carpentry and plumbing are all done in-house. A body of some fifteen members meet a couple of morning a week to plan and execute the work required.
It ranges from dealing with a dripping tap to fitting a complete new set of lights for the main hall. No job is too big but safety sometimes dictates that we have to use external support. For example lift maintenance.
